Our flagship and standard surface — a mineral-based composite built on Deckorators Surestone® Technology. The strongest board we build with, in rich, multi-tonal streaked colors, engineered for traction underfoot, lower heat on sunny days, and minimal seasonal movement. Aluminum won't rot, warp, or splinter. It's powder-coated in slim, modern profiles and warranted for the long run. Where the view is the point, cable infill preserves it; where you want light and openness, glass does.

Most deck failures start underneath — in the frame. Our standard is KDAT: kiln-dried-after-treatment lumber that's more stable, holds fasteners, and moves less over time. When a project calls for it, we frame in steel, fiberglass, or aluminum instead.

#1-grade, pressure-treated through the entire board and kiln-dried afterward. It's dimensionally stable, holds fasteners, moves less over time, and arrives pre-stained — a frame that stays straight instead of twisting and cupping as it ages.

A footing that bears load the day it goes in.
Wherever the site allows, we set mechanical footings — helical piles or ground screws. They carry load immediately with no concrete cure time, keep the posts up out of ground moisture, and are strong and relocatable. When site conditions don't allow it, we use poured concrete footings instead.

A clean, refined surface — no exposed screws where it shows, and finished edges instead of raw board ends. This is the finish work that's standard on every LeBlanc build.

Individually, these are good choices. Together, they're a system. A build qualifies as a LeBlanc Deck System only when it includes all three: mechanical footings + KDAT structural framing (or an approved non-wood equivalent) + mineral-based composite decking — our standard is Deckorators Voyage. Engineered as one structure from the ground up, it's the reason we can stand behind the whole deck, not just the boards on top.
