Process
Custom decks and outdoor structures designed, engineered, and built to perform long after installation.
Built Once. Built Right.
At LeBlanc Decks, our process is not a checklist or a sales script. It is a disciplined system developed through decades of exclusive deck-building experience and refined through thousands of projects. Every step is intentional, documented, and executed to standards that exceed minimum code requirements. This is how we eliminate future problems and deliver outdoor structures that perform long after installation.
Our work assumes longevity from the beginning. The decisions that matter most are often invisible once the project is complete, but they are what define how a deck feels, functions, and holds its value years down the road.
The LeBlanc Build Standard
Every project we build follows the same core construction philosophy. These are not upgrades or optional features. They are the baseline for how we operate.
Engineered Foundations
We use load-rated, code-approved mechanical footing systems whenever site conditions allow. Helical piles and ground screw systems provide superior consistency, immediate load-bearing capacity, and long-term structural stability compared to traditional poured concrete. This approach reduces variables, protects structural posts from ground moisture, and aligns with our long-term performance philosophy.
Advanced Framing Systems
After the foundation, nothing affects how a deck ages more than its framing. We standardize on premium structural systems selected for strength, stability, and durability. This includes #1-grade KDAT lumber that is kiln-dried after treatment and professionally pre-stained before installation, as well as non-wood framing options when appropriate. The result is straighter framing, tighter connections, and reduced long-term movement.
Wood-Free Decking Systems
We build with composite decking systems that contain no wood fiber. These materials reduce moisture absorption, swelling, and degradation while improving traction, dimensional stability, and surface comfort. The goal is a deck that feels solid underfoot, remains visually consistent, and ages gracefully with minimal maintenance.
Refined Fit and Finish
Performance is matched by precision. Board layouts are intentional. End seams are eliminated where possible. Stainless steel hidden fastening systems are used for clean surfaces, with face-fastened locations carefully plugged using color-matched materials. Fascia, stair risers, and skirting are fully trimmed to create a finished, architectural appearance.
Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
Our confidence is built into how we work. All workmanship performed by LeBlanc Decks is backed by a lifetime craftsmanship warranty, reflecting our accountability long after the project is complete.
Total Project Transparency
Every client receives access to a private customer portal that provides daily progress logs, photos, documents, and communication records. Nothing is hidden, assumed, or left undocumented.
How We Build
Quality at LeBlanc Decks is not left to interpretation. Every project is constructed using a clearly defined set of building practices developed to exceed minimum code requirements and deliver long-term performance. These practices are not upgrades or optional add-ons. They are the standard way we build, on every applicable project.
Our construction methods are designed to reduce movement, increase structural integrity, and deliver a finished appearance that feels intentional from every angle.

What to Expect When You Move Forward
Once your project is approved, it follows a clear, structured process designed to keep everything organized from day one.
Project Welcome
You will receive a welcome email serving as your central project reference. This includes secure access to your customer portal, your project number, calendar visibility, contact information for your project team, and an overview of next steps.
Planning and
Pre-Construction
Before materials are ordered or work begins, we finalize design details, complete any required engineering, secure permits, and coordinate logistics. If final product selections are needed, they are handled through a clear selections process to avoid delays or assumptions.
Scheduling
Your project is placed into our production schedule and appears on our public calendar. This provides clarity on timing and keeps expectations aligned.
Construction
Our crews build to the LeBlanc Build Standard without shortcuts. Progress is documented through daily logs with photos and notes, allowing you to follow the build even when you are not on site.
Final Walkthrough
Once construction is complete, we review the finished project with you to confirm quality, completion, and adherence to our standards.
Clear Communication.
Full Visibility.
A well-built project deserves the same level of organization and clarity behind the scenes. Our process is designed to eliminate guesswork, reduce back-and-forth, and keep you fully informed from start to finish.
Every LeBlanc Decks client receives access to a private customer portal that serves as the central hub for their project.
All Communication in One Place
Project updates, messages, and notes are centralized in a single location. No scattered texts. No missed emails. No uncertainty about what was discussed or decided.
Job Documents, Organized
Plans, estimates, change orders, photos, and invoices are stored securely and remain accessible throughout the project. Everything is documented, easy to find, and kept up to date.
