What signature craftsmanship means

Most decks are built from straight boards and square corners.

We're known for the work that isn't.

A curve that follows the yard. An edge that folds without a seam. A pattern set into the surface by hand. This is the craft beyond a standard deck — slower, harder, and unmistakable once you've seen it. It isn't right for every project. It's for the ones that deserve it.

Heat-formed by hand

We shape the board itself.

Two feats, one rare skill: controlled heat that lets a rigid deck board do things it was never meant to do.

Heat-bent curves

A board that bends left and right.

A straight deck board doesn't want to curve. To make one follow a radius — a curved border, a flowing fascia, a deck with no hard corners — we heat the whole board in professional heat blankets until it goes soft.

It takes 30 to 60 minutes a board, and a lot of prep. When it comes out, the board is like a wet noodle, and we have about 30 seconds to form it to the exact curve before it cools and locks. Misjudge it and the board is scrap.

The curve doesn't stop at the surface. The framing underneath follows it too — we've built curved decks on curved steel. The radius is engineered through the whole structure, not faked at the edge.

Waterfall edges

A 90° fold with no open seam.

Where most builders wrap an edge with a second board and live with the miter joint, we fold a single board around the corner. We notch the back of the board, heat the fold line with a heat gun, and bend it 90° — up and over a bar, down the face of a stair — as one continuous surface.

No open joint to catch water or the eye. The grain runs unbroken around the turn. It's the detail you feel before you can name it.

Where the deck becomes personal — patterns and motifs built into the boards themselves.

Inlays

A mark set into the deck.

A medallion, a monogram, a motif — cut and fitted into the deck surface so it reads as part of the floor, not laid on top of it. Multi-tone boards, tight seams, and patient layout. A signature, literally built in.

Custom patterns & borders

The layout is a design decision.

Picture-frame borders. Herringbone. Breaker boards and multi-tone fields. The direction the boards run, where they meet, and how the edge is framed — we treat all of it as design, not default. The result looks composed, because it is.

The boards behind the craft

Great detail starts with the right board.

Curved work is done in PVC decking — we reach for TimberTech AZEK, which bends the cleanest under controlled heat. Waterfall edges can be formed in most any composite. Inlays and patterns use multi-tone lines chosen for how their colors read together.

Every piece is built to the same standard as the structure beneath it — mechanical footings, framing, and decking engineered as one. That's the LeBlanc Deck System, and it's what earns our transferable 3-Year Workmanship Warranty. See your contract for full terms.

“Highly recommend LeBlanc Decks. Great communication throughout and even better craftsmanship. My deck project had some tricky elements to it and LeBlanc came in with a problem solving mindset. Transformed my old rotted wooden deck into a strong composite deck which I can actually enjoy.”

Elite-tier work, by a top-tier builder Deckorators Certified Elite badge

This is Certified Elite craftsmanship.

Each year Deckorators names a small group of builders Certified Elite — its highest tier, earned for volume, quality, growth, and partnership. Most builders never get certified at all. The rare work on this page is exactly what that tier is meant to recognize: built once, built right.
