When the bones are good, it's the smart, high-value move: faster and lower-cost than a full rebuild, with the finished look of a new deck. Before we resurface anything, we assess the existing structure. If the frame is sound, a reskin is a smart, high-value move — a brand-new surface for a fraction of a rebuild. If it isn't — rot, undersized framing, failing footings — we tell you straight and recommend a full rebuild instead of skinning over a problem. The finish would look the same either way. What's underneath is the part we won't fake.

Our standard surface is Deckorators Voyage — a mineral-based composite (built on Surestone® technology) chosen for traction, lower heat underfoot, and fade and stain resistance, with no rot and no staining to keep up. Want a different look or a different budget? We build with several premium lines and match the right one to your deck.
New powder-coated aluminum railings — picket, cable, or glass infill — finish the space, and everything is installed with stainless hidden fasteners and a full trim-out (fascia and enclosed risers). The result reads as a new deck, because the surface is one.

A reskin reuses your frame, so it isn't a full LeBlanc Deck System — that standard requires new mechanical footings, KDAT framing, and mineral-based composite decking, engineered from the ground up. Because the frame is reused, a reskin earns our 2-year workmanship tier rather than the 3-year, and the existing framing isn't covered. We'd rather say that plainly than bury it.
When your frame is near the end of its life, a full rebuild is the better long-term value. When the bones are good, a reskin is the smart move. We'll help you see which is which — honestly.
