Absolutely not — we’re the opposite. We don’t even like the word “salesperson.” You’ll meet with a Design Consultant whose job is to educate you on the products and options and help you make an informed decision. We’d love to earn your business, but we know we’re not the right fit for everyone.

Consultation → design & proposal → planning (engineering, permits, selections) → scheduling → construction → final walkthrough. Every step is documented, and you can follow it in real time.

Always. Every client gets a private customer portal with daily logs, photos, documents, and one point of contact. You’ll never have to wonder what’s happening, what’s next, or why. (The deck is the product; the experience is our reputation.)

Each crew has a lead builder who reports directly to a LeBlanc Decks Customer Experience Manager (CEM). Your CEM checks the jobsite regularly and reports to you daily — so you’re always in the loop.

Never. Once we start yours, we stay on it until it’s complete.

We handle that ourselves — no one will ask to use your bathroom.

We stop and talk it through with you before proceeding. If it changes the scope of work, we document it with a Change Order so there are no surprises.

Yes — we can create a 3D rendering for any project. The cost varies with complexity, usually $300–$500.

It depends on scope — the average deck takes 1–3 weeks depending on size. Once you approve your project, it goes on our production calendar (which you can visit), so timing is clear from the start.

Yes, we work all year. The only exception is active extreme weather — high winds, lightning, heavy rain, ice, or snow.

Every project is different, so there’s no single number — cost depends on size, materials, site conditions, and features. Rather than quote a vague range, we help you understand what drives the investment so you can make a confident decision.

Because we build for how the deck performs years from now, not just its price on day one. Engineered footings, KDAT framing, wood-free decking, hidden fasteners, and a full trim-out cost more up front — and they’re why our decks last. Doing things correctly often costs more. We’re comfortable with that.

No. We work from a defined contract with clear specifications. A cost adjustment only happens if the scope changes — either from an issue outside the original contract terms, or because you request a change — and it’s always documented through a Change Order first.

Most decks are a 50% deposit and 50% at completion. Larger projects may include one or two progress payments. Either way, the schedule is spelled out in your contract.

We focus on value, not on being the lowest bid. An honest comparison has to be quote-to-quote on the same standards — the same footings, framing, decking, and finish — which is rarely apples-to-apples. We’re glad to walk through what actually drives a number.

Wood-free composite, chosen for traction, low heat, fade/stain resistance, and no rot. Our standard is Deckorators Voyage (built on Surestone® mineral-based technology); we also build with several other premium lines and match the right material to your project.

For most homeowners, wood-free composite. It won’t rot, splinter, or need staining, and it holds its look for decades with little maintenance.

We can, on request. Trex is the most recognized name, but we typically recommend lines we’ve found perform better for the money — happy to walk you through the honest comparison.

Yes — Nexan LockDry aluminum decking for fully water-tight applications, plus water-diversion systems under raised decks.

Powder-coated aluminum with picket, cable, or glass infill — durable, low-maintenance, and suited to both modern and traditional homes. As with decking, we can install whatever suits your needs; these are simply our go-to systems.

The LeBlanc Build Standard — the quality that’s mostly invisible once the deck is finished: mechanical footings, KDAT framing, wood-free decking, stainless hidden fasteners, face-screwed-and-plugged board ends, no butt joints, mid-span blocking, reinforced stair stringers, extra structural hardware, and a full trim-out (fascia and enclosed stair risers) — all backed by our warranty and the customer portal with daily logs. The decisions that matter most are the ones you can’t see.

Mechanical footings (helical piles / ground screws) are driven into stable soil for immediate, engineered load-bearing — no concrete curing, no open holes, less disruption, and posts kept out of ground moisture. We use them whenever site conditions allow.

Yes — permits are an itemized part of your quote.

Yes — a licensed BC contractor (Lic #79196) carrying general liability insurance and workers’ compensation for our team.

A 3-Year Workmanship Warranty on new deck systems, covering our installation of footings, framing, decking, stairs, and railings. Waterproofing and redecking-over-existing-frame carry a 2-year workmanship warranty. Materials are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties. (Full terms in your contract.)

For qualifying LeBlanc Deck System builds, the workmanship warranty is transferable one time to a subsequent homeowner for 3 years from completion.

You submit a claim through your customer portal, we inspect it, and we make covered workmanship right. We build every project expecting it to serve for decades.

Covered decks and patio covers, screen rooms, pergolas, spiral stairs, railings, lighting, under-deck systems, privacy screens, and full outdoor living spaces (patios, pavers, fire pits/fireplaces, outdoor kitchens).

Yes — we can resurface a sound existing frame with new decking and railings (“reskin”). We’ll assess the existing structure first, and note that reused framing isn’t covered under our workmanship warranty.

Yes — commercial and multi-family work is available on request.

No — we focus on decks and outdoor living structures; we don’t build pools or docks.
